How It Began.
Evergreen Ministries began with the simple conviction that faith is a gift from God, not something we achieve, but something He freely gives through His Word, and how this message is often neglected in our society. Our mission is twofold: to teach and encourage Christians to live confidently in this gift of faith, and to encourage and equip those same Christians to bring that same message to the lost.
To support this outreach, we’ve created Soul Care Packages. These life-saving packages are filled to the brim with resources designed to make a lasting impact by pointing people to Christ and His saving promises.
Already, God has opened doors for us to host community worship nights, distribute Bibles, and connect with people at event booths, even gold-leafing their names as a reminder of their worth in God’s eyes.
The name Evergreen reflects the unchanging, ever-living hope we have in Christ, who keeps His people rooted in His Word and continually grows us in faith through every season of life, even in the harshest winters.
How It’s Going.
God’s Work in Our Community
Evergreen Ministries has already witnessed God’s hand at work in powerful ways. Since our last update, we successfully hosted our scheduled event, which drew a wonderful turnout and strengthened our mission to share Christ within our community.
Growing Support
We’re grateful to welcome several new donors who have joined us in this ministry. Their generosity and prayers continue to fuel our outreach efforts.
Christmas Outreach
This Christmas, we are preparing to distribute wrapped Soul Care Packages, sharing the hope of Christ’s birth with those who may not yet know His grace. These packages remain one of our most impactful tools for meaningful, personal outreach.
Bibles on the Way
By God’s provision, we are well on our way to securing another 500 Bibles. This allows us to continue to put God’s Word into the hands of those who otherwise might not have access to it.
Mall Booth Progress
We are also moving steadily toward establishing our hallway booth at local malls, which will give Evergreen Ministries a consistent and visible presence to engage with our community face-to-face.
Looking Ahead
The momentum is strong, and we are deeply thankful for every prayer, gift, and encouragement. God willing, this is still only the beginning of what He will continue to do through Evergreen Ministries.

How We Plan On Growing.
God’s People
Individual supporters are at the heart of Evergreen Ministries, making Soul Care Packages possible. These resource-filled Bibles open doors to conversations and plant God’s Word where it may never have gone otherwise. Monthly gifts, whether $10, $20, or $30, keep this effort steady, allowing packages to be prepared and sent out consistently.
Yet individual support reaches beyond Soul Care Packages. Each gift also contributes to ministry events, Bible distribution, and the ongoing efforts of the mission. When many individuals give faithfully, their combined impact multiplies outreach far beyond what one person could do alone, extending Christ’s hope to entire communities.
Congregational Support
Congregations form the backbone of our work, providing the steady support needed for ministry labor and awareness. Through their partnership, Evergreen Ministries can faithfully carry out the work of planning, preparing resources, assembling Soul Care Packages, hosting events, developing online tools, and sharing the Gospel in communities.
This support not only covers the practical needs of ministry but also demonstrates the unity of Christ’s Church in action. Congregations show that Evergreen’s work is not separate from the local church but grows out of it, as an extension of the Body of Christ. In doing so, they strengthen every other part of our mission, from events to Bible distribution, ensuring that the work remains grounded in God’s Word and connected to His Church.

Christian businesses play a vital role in making ministry events possible. Their support provides the resources to host worship nights, outreach gatherings, and Bible distribution efforts where people can hear God’s Word and be encouraged to fulfill the Great Commission. But business support also extends further. Their giving strengthens every part of Evergreen’s work, from funding Soul Care Packages to supporting ministry projects and Bible distribution. Pray
It is only by God’s grace and mercy that Evergreen Ministries can grow and bear fruit. The work is not ours but the Lord’s, and apart from Him we can do nothing (John 15:5). Therefore, we humbly ask for your prayers.
Pray that God would grant wisdom and faithfulness to our leaders, that He would open doors for the Gospel, and that He would send laborers into His harvest (Matthew 9:38). Pray that His Word would accomplish the purpose for which He sends it (Isaiah 55:11), and that Evergreen Ministries would be an instrument of Christ’s care and truth in the world.
Above all, pray that everything we do would be kept in Christ, grounded in His Word, and carried forward only by the power of the Holy Spirit. We trust that He who began this work will bring it to completion according to His will.
About Our Faith
Evergreen Ministries is a Confessional Lutheran ministry (not affiliated with the ELCA). We believe the ENTIRE Bible to be inerrant, and believe that scripture is faithfully taught in the Apostle’s Creed, Nicene Creed, Athanasian Creed, and in the full Book of Concord.
At the same time, we want to make it abundantly clear that our Soul Care Packages and resources are not shaped by denominational distinctives. They are firmly rooted in the central truths of the Christian faith and are prepared in such a way that they are faithful, accessible, and available for all to use.
